At the beginning of this year, I came across the optical illusion of "trees forming an elephant." My mother loves elephants, and I thought the illusion was so good that I wanted to try crocheting a sweater based on it. Transferring the pattern onto my stitch-paper took several months - mainly because it's such a tedious and time-consuming task that I could only work on it in small chunks. Whenever I tried to do a larger portion at once, too many mistakes crept in. Finally, over the summer, I completed the design. Transferring it from paper to my online editor was relatively easy, and I was able to correct the last few errors.
Crocheting it was comparatively easy – as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. At the beginning of October, I finally finished, and my mother is now the proud owner of her own optical illusion. By the way, because my mother couldn't decide if she wants the elephant in the front or at the back, the fitting of the sweater is "uniform". She can no wear it however she likes it.
The yarn is once again Laflina from the "Wollspinnerei Vetsch" and we bought it with much joy at Onza per Onza.

Sorry, I was not online the last few days.
What do you mean, that the file does not download?
I have a separate page for all the patterns (Elephant Tree Pattern). There is a "Print"-Button above the pattern table, you need to use that button to be able to print/download the pattern to your computer.
If that doesn't work for you, you can write me an e-mail and I will sent you the PDF version.
Bests, Katrin
