I really wanted to test our blue shades - they are so beautiful! That's why the Water Djinn is definitely the perfect miniature. The light blue (beard) proved to be stubborn and had to be tamed with acrylic paint thinner in the end. Otherwise, the colors are as great as I had hoped. I'm slowly getting better with the highlights, but there's still a lot of room for improvement - and let's not even start with the eyes...
By the way, for the base we used white crafting sand and dyed it. We weren't sure if it would work well at first, but personally, I think the result is fantastic.
