The original plan was to take the morning train to Chur, get on the Glacier Express to Zermatt, spend the afternoon there, and take a leisurely train ride back the next day.
Unfortunately, there was an incident that led to total chaos on the Swiss rail network. Every train we took was delayed, and we missed every single connection. When we finally arrived in Zermatt, it was already getting dark, and we had to leave early the next morning because the Glacier Express was operating a little earlier in that direction.
Despite all the planning, everything turned out differently, but it was definitely worth it!
