It all started with the gift penguin and the snowman as my Christmas decoration. Then the cute penguin with his moon and fairy lights had to be added, and finally the Christmas tree. The whole process took several weeks. Originally, I only planned for "decorations" and not a diorama. However, when the question of storage came up, the idea for a diorama emerged. For that, I had to order the cardboard box, paint the starrlit sky, and construct the icy ground.
